Elesahre dwell in places where music flows strongest in open plains, sacred groves, or halls built to echo the world’s rhythms. Their cities shine with the artistry of carved instruments in open spaces where the wind itself can join the chorus.
One of the most important among them is Shura, Keeper of the Music Seal. Through her, the Elesahre’s sacred role continues, ensuring that Akaria’s song never falls silent. Together, they form a web of guidance and protection, ensuring that the land remains balanced and that no single power overwhelms the others. Through their shared vision and coordinated efforts, the Council of the Everlasting Weave ensures that Akaria’s sacred forces remain in balance, weaving together the lives, hopes, and defenses of all who call the land home.
Atlantis
Atlantis was a city of ingenuity and resilience, its people defined by determination and resourcefulness. Once a thriving hub of knowledge, trade, and innovation, it stood fractured under the shadow of tyranny. Amid its upheaval, a group of brave souls rose to preserve what remained of the city’s knowledge, culture, and hope.
Kiera led the resistance, whose courage and determination inspire those around her. Marcus, her steadfast ally, who aided in transporting salvaged artifacts and shared her unwavering commitment, supported her. Among them was Emma, a librarian of the Great Library, whose efforts to rescue ancient volumes proved vital to the survival of Atlantis’s heritage. Faron, Nadir, and Kaden complete the core of the resistance, each contributed their skills and resolve to challenge oppression.
Their adversary was Ravenwolf, who governed under a ruthless authoritarian regime defined by strict edicts, rationed food, high taxes, and the destruction of knowledge. They enforced it through advanced crystal technology and loyal soldiers. Once a friend to Kiera, Commander Darrious struggled with his allegiance, while soldiers like Haden pursued personal ambition at the expense of others.
The city’s people lived in constant tension between survival and defiance. The resistance worked tirelessly to undermine Ravenwolf’s control, salvage what they could, and protect the legacy of Atlantis. Their fight was both personal and collective. A stand against tyranny that threatened not only their city but the world beyond.
Through courage, ingenuity, and unity, the Atlanteans resisted domination, embodying hope and perseverance even in the face of overwhelming power. Their struggle set the stage for critical alliances and confrontations that shaped the fate of Akaria itself.
The Order of the Black Rose
The Black Rose is a faction born of loyalty, exile, and ambition. A people shaped by both reverence for Ravenwolf and the bitterness of persecution. Once ostracized after Ravenwolf’s imprisonment, they retreated to the hidden city of Shimmering Rose, nestled high in the Jagged Peaks. There, after time, a new generation arose, idealizing Ravenwolf’s teachings and determined to reclaim influence over Akaria.
They are a people of discipline and ambition, proud of their mastery over advanced crystal technology, including the clandestine network of teleportation paths known as the “Quartz Roads.” Their symbol, a carved black rose worn on a leather wrist strap, marks both identity and allegiance. Clad in dark clothing, they move with purpose, combining skill, intellect, and unwavering devotion to their cause.
Their ideology centers on unlocking hidden potential, asserting desires, and showing superiority through innovation and strategy. To achieve their aims, they will manipulate, and provoke, believing the ends justify the means in their quest for restitution and recognition.
Among their members, Malick leads with ambition tempered by doubt. However, he is guided by his perceptive wife Sihu, whose skepticism keeps him grounded. Hawk, who is both impulsive and ruthless, became Ravenwolf’s chief accomplice after committing a grievous act. Kaliyah and Rhea embody the new generation’s zeal for his teachings. Than, reserved yet skilled, questions some of the faction’s methods. While Len and Edan, masters of the Quartz Roads, worke tirelessly to expand their network.
Beyond Shimmering Rose, the Black Rose maintains a secret cabin and networks across Akaria. They are ever poised to undermine the Keepers and further Ravenwolf’s influence. Through their devotion, cunning, and internal conflicts, they drive much of the tension and intrigue within Akaria, a constant reminder of ambition’s power and peril. Until….
Keepers (of the Seals)
The Keepers are an ancient and revered collective, entrusted with safeguarding Akaria’s Seals, which embody the sacred anchors of the land’s energy transformation system. These Seals regulate the flow of life’s forces, ensuring harmony across the world. Each Keeper is a specialist, devoted to one of the six Seals: Earth, Air, Fire, Music, Water, or Spirit. Together, they act as both guardians and stewards, balancing wisdom, power, and vigilance.
Each Keeper’s unique amulet strengthens their connection to their Seal. They are protectors of sacred sites, custodians of knowledge, and moral anchors for Akaria’s peoples. Though united in purpose, each brings a distinctive perspective of their race and culture, enriching the Council with diversity of thought, skill, and approach.
The Keepers include Thorgisl, Keeper of the Earth Seal. Mingyu, Keeper of the Air Seal. Mkhai, Keeper of the Fire Seal. Shura, Keeper of the Music Seal. Jae’wa, Keeper of the Water Seal. and Talus, Keeper of the Spirit Seal. Theron, Keeper of the Scrolls, leads the Council of the Everlasting Weave. Allied with them are heroes from Atlantis: Kiera, Darrious, and Marcus, whose knowledge and courage strengthen the Keepers’ efforts against threats beyond Akaria.
They operate in harmony across the land, each overseeing their Seal’s domain: soaring peaks, serene lakes, vibrant valleys, and hidden forests. Their unity is essential to countering Ravenwolf whose attempts to destabilize Akaria challenge the Keepers’ vigilance at every turn.
Through wisdom, skill, and unwavering resolve, the Keepers serve as Akaria’s defenders. Their vigilance preserves balance, heals what is broken, and guides the forces of life toward harmony, so the land’s sacred energies endure against corruption and chaos.
Orders of the Rose (White, Yellow, Blue, Green, Red)
The Orders of the Rose are splinter groups born from the original Order of the Black Rose, shaped by history and the lessons of exile. After Ravenwolf’s imprisonment, these factions turned away from his more arrogant and aggressive teachings, choosing instead to harness crystal technology for harmony, innovation, and the betterment of life across Akaria. Though their skills rival the most advanced, they prefer seclusion, preserving their ways in the hidden city of Shimmering Rose, nestled high in the Jagged Peaks.
Each order carries its own symbol using bundles of roses in a specific color. Small colored roses mark the doors of their homes, signaling both identity and unity. They balance knowledge and crystal mastery to create a higher standard of living, heal what is broken, and promote thoughtful advancement, not dominance.
Among their notable members, Theron, Keeper of the Scrolls and Head of the Council of the Everlasting Weave, hopes to integrate the Orders with broader Akarian society, bridging tradition and innovation. Vandek, the leader of Shimmering Rose, represents the Orders’ vision for a peaceful, advanced community, fostering both knowledge and cooperation.
Though descended from the original Black Rose, the Orders now oppose the radicalized faction, demonstrating that Ravenwolf’s influence can yield both corruption and creation. Their mastery of crystal technology offers potential alliances to the Keepers and a means to counter imbalance, while also serving as a reminder of history’s enduring complexities.
Through their ingenuity, restraint, and dedication to a harmonious life, the Orders of the Rose embody the possibility of using power wisely. All the while, preserving the legacy of their origins while shaping a future guided by wisdom and light.
